Who We Are Looking For

A Project Manager with recent experience delivering projects in eCommerce or Tech industries using agile workflows in a Multi-Disciplinary Team including Developers, Creatives, QA’s and Strategists. Commercially savvy, you’ll be a confident communicator. With exceptional organizational skills, and great attention to detail. Always cool under pressure, you’ll be comfortable multi-tasking and prioritising tasks to deliver ‘best in class’ projects on time and within budget.

What You’ll Do

Project Management:

  • Take a hands-on approach to managing projects
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog reviews, retrospectives and stand-ups
  • Ensure projects are scoped and managed in extensive detail to mitigate risks and avoid scope-creep
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope while fostering strong relationships with clients - acting as the ‘customer advocate’ internally
  • Manage and maintain all resource allocation for multiple projects
  • Manage and maintain communication channels within the project team and the wider business
  • Track project schedules while constantly assessing risk and removing blockers for the project team
  • Ensure implementation of our standard client KPIs
  • Manage project quality control
  • Ensure appropriate planning is in place for days off and holidays

Problem Solver:

  • Proactively, identifying and mitigate potential areas of risk

Process:

  • Report to the Client Success Director ensuring they are up to date with all project, client and resource issues/updates relating to your Crew
  • Contribute to the continued development of processes, efficiency and working practices across the company, working together with design, engineering and client services teams

Knowledge:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Project Management software, tools and best practices
  • Understanding of the key principles of eCommerce
  • Understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies

Agency Growth and Client Retention:

Protect and grow project billing, our client retention rate and monthly recurring revenue (MRR) outlined in monthly/quarterly financial plans:

  • By delivering projects within the agreed scope and budget
  • By optimising our project management processes
  • By developing and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients

What You’ll Bring

Characteristics:

Organised, honest, can-do attitude, proactive, resourceful, good communicator, reliable, responsible, supportive, adept negotiator.

Required:

Previous experience in a Project Manager or Delivery Manager role.
Experience working with agile workflows.

Desirable experience:

Previous experience working in a digital agency, eCommerce or SaaS business.
Practical Shopify experience.
Experience using Jira.
