From the iconic Fabergé eggs to an exclusive clientele, their history is woven into every creation. Fabergé sought a digital presence to match the timeless elegance of their brand, while delivering a seamless modern experience.

Fostr was chosen as their partner to design and build a Shopify Plus solution that seamlessly integrates their bespoke product information management system (PIM) while elevating their online shopping experience.

Fabergé’s existing bespoke headless system lacked the flexibility they needed to deliver a truly premium experience. After showcasing the capabilities of Shopify Plus, they were impressed by its scalability and how effortlessly it could adapt to their needs. We created a seamless digital experience that not only represents Fabergé’s exceptional quality but mirrors the luxury of their in-store experience online.

Each Fabergé piece has distinct attributes, from gemstone appearance to weight, requiring a sophisticated solution. Rather than treating stock as mass inventory, their online store needed to reflect the individuality of each item.

To achieve this, we developed a custom integration that seamlessly connects their PIM with Shopify. This ensures real-time product data synchronisation, keeping inventory accurate while delivering a smooth shopping experience. This is essential for a brand like Fabergé, where the uniqueness of every creation must be preserved in every digital interaction.

On the design side, we focused on minimalist elegance with subtle brand storytelling. Playful nods to Fabergé’s iconic eggs appear throughout the site, reinforcing their heritage while delivering a sophisticated, intuitive experience. A UX workshop helped elevate their branding and user experience, ensuring the platform serves as both a home for their products and a showcase of their legacy.

Since the launch, Fabergé has seen impressive results, including a 21% growth in revenue YoY and a 30% increase in organic search clicks YoY.
