Lusso is a luxury lifestyle brand in the home interiors market. Their client base crosses interior designers, architects, hotels, and homeowners, with the aim of creating spaces of absolute serenity. The ranges combine premium materials, expert craftsmanship and a signature style of understated elegance.
In need of a more stable platform and new integrated operational systems, Lusso was seeking a design-forward Shopify agency with luxury brand experience. The brand partnered with Fostr to emulate their flawless attention to detail digitally and replatform to a best-in-class Shopify Plus solution.

Lusso was originally working on a closed platform that required bespoke modifications. This resulted in a fragile build that was difficult to maintain. When a new feature was launched, another would break - a cycle that impacted productivity and functionality.
Fostr was entrusted to make the switch. Shopify’s modern stack offers a secure, flexible platform that removes development bottlenecks, making it easier to integrate new apps, and match Lusso’s luxury aesthetic.
Our experts collaborated closely with internal eCommerce and marketing teams to create a platform that lays the foundations for growth while keeping risks contained. We ran a UX workshop to guide the structure of the site and design rollout, while advising on compatible third-party app selection.
Developing bespoke features was central to enhancing UX; shop the look, tile calculator, sticky product information, large gallery style imagery all simultaneously bring the brand to life and help improve the key metrics.

The newly replatformed site was launched in July and within the first 6 months, Lusso experienced a 29% uplift in online orders. Momentum has not slowed following the move, with growth of 28% in online AOV and 22% uplift in total orders YOY.
